DefaultUser Extension
The DefaultUser Extension, available in FNZ Studio 2022.2 and higher, can be used if no other mechanism to create users is available.
Configuration
The DefaultUser extension creates a default user with id: nm.
The password of the default user can be configured using the default.user.password configuration property. This must be stored in the DefaultUser.jar.cfg file that must be created and placed in the <Local file system>/data-home/extensions folder.
Example configuration: default.user.password = some-secure-password
Note the following:
- In case of system restart, the DefaultUser extension and the configuration file
DefaultUser.jar.cfgmust be uninstalled after the first user has been created, otherwise the system could fail to start. - The DefaultUser extension does not start if a user is already existing in the system. This is to avoid any possible conflicts e.g. with LDAP users.
