FNZ Studio Product Lifecycle And End Of Support
Overview
The long-term Product lifecycle for Platform versions specifies the level of Support available for your Platfrom version at a given point in time.
We are committed to announcing End of Support dates for Platform releases at least 1 year in advance, allowing you to plan upgrades accordingly.
The following table provides a concise overview of the Product lifecycle dates.
Note that, starting from 2022, Appway Platform versions are being renamed. See 2022 Appway Platform Rebranding: Numbering and Naming for complete information. Moreover, note that Appway 2022.2 has been renamed FNZ Studio 2022.2. In this document it is also referred, generically, as Platform.

Information on the Product lifecycle milestones defined in the table:
- Release Date - Specifies the release date of the LTS (Long-Term Support) release (for FNZ Studio 2023 and higher), Feature release (for Appway 2022.1 and FNZ Studio 2022), or Major release (for Appway 11 or lower), which includes significant new features. LTS releases (e.g. FNZ Studio 2023 LTS) are followed by Patch releases only (naming to be determined), containing bugfixes. Major releases (e.g. Appway 11.0.0) are generally followed by one or more Minor releases (e.g. 11.1.0) providing smaller features and enhancements, as well as Patch releases containing bug fixes.
- Patch Releases Only - After this date, only Patch releases, which contain bug fixes for a wide range of issues, but no new features, will be provided. For Appway 2022.1 and higher, for which there are no minor releases, this date matches the official release date.
- Critical Patch Releases Only - After this date, only critical Patch releases, which contain bug fixes only for blocking and serious security issues, will be provided.
- End of Support (EOS) - Means that while you can continue to use the Platform version after this date, bug fixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted. * Consider that the EOS dates in this article are valid unless specified otherwise in your contract.

Supported Versions
FNZ Studio 2024 LTS
Product lifecycle dates for FNZ Studio 2024 LTS are:
- Since November 11, 2024, with the official release of FNZ Studio 2024 LTS, only Patch releases are provided for FNZ Studio 2024 LTS. Patch releases contain bugfixes for a wide range of issues, but generally no new features.
- End of Support is tentatively scheduled for October 31, 2027. However, you will be informed 1 year in advance on the exact date for discontinuing support services for FNZ Studio 2024 LTS, and such date will also be available in this article. After support services end, you can continue to use FNZ Studio 2023 LT4, but bugfixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted.

FNZ Studio 2023 LTS
Product lifecycle dates for FNZ Studio 2023 LTS are:
- Since November 16, 2023, with the official release of FNZ Studio 2023 LTS, only Patch releases are provided for FNZ Studio 2023 LTS. Patch releases contain bugfixes for a wide range of issues, but generally no new features.
- End of Support is tentatively scheduled for October 31, 2026. However, you will be informed 1 year in advance on the exact date for discontinuing support services for FNZ Studio 2023 LTS, and such date will also be available in this article. After support services end, you can continue to use FNZ Studio 2023 LTS, but bugfixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted.

FNZ Studio 2022.2
Product lifecycle dates for Appway 2022.2 are:
- Since September 29, 2022, with the official release of FNZ Studio 2022.2, only Patch releases are provided for FNZ Studio 2022.2. Patch releases contain bugfixes for a wide range of issues, but generally no new features.
- End of Support is tentatively scheduled for October 31, 2025. However, you will be informed 1 year in advance on the exact date for discontinuing support services for FNZ Studio 2022.2.x, and such date will also be available in this article. After support services end, you can continue to use FNZ Studio 2022.2.x, but bugfixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted.

Appway 2022.1
Product lifecycle dates for Appway 2022.1 are:
- Since May 12, 2022, with the official release of Appway 2022.1, only Patch releases are provided for Appway 2022.1. Patch releases contain bugfixes for a wide range of issues, but generally no new features.
- End of Support is tentatively scheduled for October 31, 2025. However, you will be informed 1 year in advance on the exact date for discontinuing support services for Appway 2022.1.x, and such date will also be available in this article. After support services end, you can continue to use Appway 2022.1.x, but bugfixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted.

Appway 11
Product lifecycle dates for Appway 11 are:
- End of Support was reached on October 31, 2024. After support services end, you can continue to use Appway 11.x, but bug fixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted. We encourage you to upgrade to a supported version to guarantee the long-term success and sustainability of your projects in line with our product lifecycle.
- From March 31, 2023, only critical Patch releases were provided for Appway 11.x until End Of Support. Patch releases contain bugfixes for a wide range of issues, but generally no new features.
- The latest minor release for Appway 11 was released on November 18, 2021 (Appway 11.1).

Appway 10

- From March 31, 2022, only critical Patch releases were provided for Appway 10.x until End Of Support. Critical Patch releases contain only bug fixes for blocking and serious security issues.
- The latest minor release for Appway 10 was released on October 22, 2020 (Appway 10.1).

Appway 9

Appway 8
Product lifecycle dates for Appway 8 are:

Appway 7

- From March 31, 2019, only critical Patch releases were provided for Appway 7.x. Critical Patch releases contain only bug fixes for blocking and serious security issues.
- The latest minor release for Appway 7 was released December 20, 2017 (Appway 7.2).
Appway 6.x
Product lifecycle dates for Appway 6 are:
- End of Support was reached on March 31, 2019. After support services end, you can continue to use Appway 6.x, but bug fixes will no longer be provided and related Support tickets will no longer be accepted. We encourage you to upgrade to a supported version to guarantee the long-term success and sustainability of your projects in line with our product lifecycle.
- From March 31, 2018, only critical Patch releases were provided for Appway 6.x. Critical Patch releases contain only bug fixes for blocking and serious security issues.
- The latest major release for Appway 6, Appway 6.3, was released on March 2, 2016.
