Shortcut Keys in BO Editors

This document provides a reference of the shortcut keys supported in FNZ Studio Editors.

Shortcut Key Overview

Following is a list of shortcut keys, the action they perform, and the list of Editors in which they are supported.

    Shortcut Keys per Business Object Editor

    The attached PDF file provides an overview of the supported shortcut keys per Business Object Editor: PDF version - 2025.x.x.

    Note that some Editors provide additional shortcuts. See:Data Logic Business Object and Data Class Business Object

    Shortcut Keys Behavior in Script Function, Catalog and Expression Editor

    For some editors, additional shortcuts are available when the focus is in the central area, or their functionality is different, compared to when the focus is outside of the central area:

    • For the Script Function and the Expression editor, when the focus is in the central area of the script or expression editor, compared to when the focus is outside of the central area.
    • For the Catalog editor, when the focus is in the central table compared to when the focus is outside of it.
    The Expression Editors can be accessed from some fields in the Business Object Editors, such as the Script field in the Data Class Editor, or the sentry field in the Data Logic Editor, among others).

    CTRL Key

    • CTRL + E while on a Script field: opens the Script Editor.

    • CTRL + Shift + C while on the BO Library: opens the multiple clipboard widget /admin/clipboard/clipboard.jsp.

    • CTRL while drawing a Connection (Process Business Object): makes the connection Conditional.
