System Installation in Containerized Environment

This section FNZ Studio System Installation documentation explains how the FNZ Studio Platform runs in a containerized environment. It covers:

• How to build a Docker image for FNZ Studio from scratch (Building A Docker Image). Note: This short document only provides an overview on how the approach works, since we recommend using the standard FNZ Studio Docker images and extend them if needed.

• General guidelines on how to use Docker containers (System Installation Using Containers (2026)). In this document, we explain how to use Standard Docker images and show its features.

• How to run multiple nodes of the application conveniently with Docker Compose (Docker Compose).

• A short overview of Kubernetes and Helm (Kubernetes/Helm). Note: This short document only shows an overview. For more details and instruction on how to use Kubernetes and Helm see (Using Kubernetes).

• General guidelines on how to use Kubernetes (Using Kubernetes) In this document we explain how to run the Platform in Kubernetes an show how to embed the Standard Docker images in a container orchestration system. We use Kubernetes, but other systems are possible and have similar requirements.
